Taylor Baldwin – 2011-2012 SJRA Rodeo Queen

Hi, my name is Taylor Baldwin, I am your 2011-2012 SJRA Queen. I am 14 years old and in the eighth grade. I live on Baldwin Angus Ranch in Ocala, Florida with my dad Tony, Mom Cindy and my brother Asa. I also have 4 older sisters and an older brother.

My grandfather Leroy Baldwin started this ranch in 1947. We raise registered Angus cattle.

I am in the Kendrick 4-H club, Jr Cattleman Association, Jr Angus Association and the Florida Jr. High School Rodeo Association. Some of my hobbies are showing cattle in the Southern Youth Fair, Rodeo, playing softball, going to the beach and hanging our with friends. My rodeo events are barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, ribbon roping and breakaway.

I can't wait for the 2011-2012 SJRA season to begin!! Our 2010-2011 SJRA Queen, Blair Bullock was awesome!!! She was always encouraging and willing to help everyone. Blair, good luck in your first year of High School Rodeo. I have big shoes to fill. My goal as Queen is to promote our association, be an encourager to others, and to show a Christ like attitude in everything I do. I can't wait to meet any new members as see friends from last year!!! God Bless.

My name is Sydney Williams, I am honored and very excited to be your new 2011-2012 SJRA Princess. For those of you that don't know me or that I haven't met yet I am 11 years old and in the 6th grade at Suwannee Middle School. I live in Live Oak, FL with my parents Andy and Amanda and sister Gracie. This is my 3rd year in SJRA and each year keeps getting better. My events this year are barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and I am going to attempt to see if I'm tough enough for chute dogging. Although rodeo is my passion, I also enjoy playing softball and singing. I am so excited for this rodeo season to start! Hopefully everyone had a wonderful summer and are ready to ride!!
