Welcome to the Rodeo

SJRAIf you are a student ages five to fifteen, K5-9th grade, with a desire to rodeo then SJRA invites you to become a part of their association.

Students are divided from age 5 to 11 years old for a Junior Division and 12 to 15 years old make up the Senior Division. Events include Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Tie-Down Calf Roping, Break-Away Calf Roping, Goat Tying, Chute Dogin’, and Ribbon Roping. .

The Southern Junior Rodeo Association draws families from North Central Florida and South Georgia. It is a family oriented association allowing youngsters to compete in rodeo events, while developing good sportsmanship and character. The students have the opportunity to meet and fellowship with others their age that have the same interest in the sport of rodeo. By competing in the SJRA students are more prepared for the Junior High and High School Rodeo Association in their state.

The SJRA will hold 13 rodeos throughout the region encompassing their membership and have finals in May of 2012 in Ocala, FL at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion.

So come join us – let’s RODEO!
