Know Before You Go - Ocala/Belleview, FL (Florida Agriculture Center & Horse Park Arena)

Rodeo Dates: December 12 - 14, 2014


  • Gas tickets are due at December rodeo.  Each contestant was issued 2 booklets (50 tickets) to sell.  You will be charged for any unsold tickets at registration.  If tickets are not turned in at registration, you will be assessed $100. SELL TICKETS and TURN THEM IN.  This is our largest fund raiser in which the proceeds go towards the end of year prizes.
  • Scholarship packets are due for HS students. Please note: If your forms are not completely filled out and turned in at rodeo, you will be exempt from scholarship consideration - NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Call-in/out: December 9th & 10th
  • Stalls Available.  $30 per stall per day.  Must be reserved in advance - click here to book
    • Stalls come with 1 bag of shavings
    • Addition shavings available on-site for $9 per bag.
    • No staples or screws to be placed on front of any stall
  • Limited Hook-ups available (30amp). $30 per hook-up per day. Must be reserved in advance - click here to book
  • GA people - remember you need a health cert and coggins to enter/exit the state of Florida.  FL people remember you should always have a valid coggins when you travel.

  • All dogs must be on leash with people on the other end at all times.
  • Manure to be disposed of in designed areas only.
  • No Vehicles are permitted to park within 30ft of any stabling facility unless unloading  or loading
  • All motorized vehicles (cars, trucks, golf carts, etc) must be operated by a licensed driver
  • No smoking in stables, spectator pavilion or equine building or arena.
  • No open fires permitted at the Horse park.
  • Please place all trash in the receptacles.

SJRA is the premier youth rodeo association for contestants ages five (5) to nineteen (19).  The organization is divided into three (3) division: Juniors (ages 5-11), Seniors (ages 12-14) and High School (ages 14-19).  Please refer to the membership page for additional information on age brackets and qualifications.


Rodeo season starts in September and runs through April culminating with finals rodeo in May.  Members may join at any time. Throughout the year, contestants enjoy pay-outs in each event  and at finals, the top contestants in each age division are rewarded with over $100,000 in prizes and cash awards.


SJRA draws some of the best competitors from Florida and Georgia.  It is a family oriented association offering youth riders the opportunity to compete in rodeo events while developing good sportsmanship and character with a high emphasis on education .  Competing in SJRA prepares the contestants for the next level of rodeo.
